Embark on a journey to discover your individual purpose, navigate next steps, and leverage your network.
Have you ever struggled to answer the question, "What should I do with my life?" What if you didn't have to leave your life situation to discover 'the' answer? Participants will be guided to design a life with more joy, more meaning, and more purpose.
Conference participants will spend the day on a purposeful journey that's a whole lot of fun to navigate! A journey that will inspire and motivate you to move forward, deepen your passion and fill your heart with smiles! You'll also learn some ways to add value to yourself & others along the way.
Relationships matter and you will spend time finding empowerment in the network of women in attendance and how to leverage all of our connections to help us on our journey.

Who Should Attend?
The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce invites members interested in networking with other women in leadership positions for personal and professional development to participate in the Networking Empowers Women (N.E.W.) Mini Conference.
Make sure you login to your Chamber member account when registering. The cost to attend the mini conference is $60 for OACC members.
Not a member of the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce? You are welcome to attend as a guest for the price of $70.

Ashleigh BestHave you ever struggled to answer the question, “What should I do with my life?” Do you think you’ll consider this question in the future? What if you didn’t have to leave your life situation in order to discover ‘the’ answer? Through a series of group coaching exercises, participants in this interactive session will examine their personal values, strengths, and identify what gives them energy. Engaging the SpiritProfessionally, I started my journey as a therapist but always sensed there was more of a connection between the psychological and spiritual. So I immersed myself in the study of the mind, body, and spirit, and how to bridge them together. I am a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, The University of Akron, and Fellowships of the Spirit School of Healing and Prophecy. I am working on my doctorate in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University. I retired from doing therapy in December of 2019, after 20 years. I am also an Advanced Heart-Centered Clinical Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Laugh-A-Yoga Coach, MARI Practitioner, Artist, and Belly Dancer. I believe that humor gets us through life and bonds us with others. And if you want the real deal…I am me. Creative, fun, kind, caring, stubborn, irreverent, and goofy. I live my life happily and attempt to put my best self forward on a daily basis. I put my heart into the things I do. It’s very common for me to be asked, “What are you up to NOW?!?” I laugh often, dance a lot, don’t get enough sleep, and enjoy talking people into adventures with me. I’m proud of my accomplishments, and treasure my independence. Children fascinate me. On the Myers-Briggs, I’m an INFJ. I love flowers! I have the best little puppy in the world, Baxter. I keep telling him that, hoping he’ll learn to behave here soon. My cat, Bella, tolerates my existence. I’m the middle child–sigh. And I really think I missed my calling as a 1950’s housewife…however, everyone laughs hysterically when I say that. That’s me in a nutshell!

Interim Director of Career Planning at The College of WoosterOriginally from Orrville, Ashleigh was eager to come back to her home community in August 2015 when her career path took her from North Carolina to The College of Wooster. Having spent 17+ years in higher education working in career planning, leadership education, and community engagement, her current role as Interim Director of Career Planning has enabled her to integrate these experiences to best help students connect their academics and out-of-the-classroom experiences to their future goals. Ashleigh holds a Master of Arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University (BGSU) and Bachelor in Business Administration from Kent State University. Beyond her professional life, she lives in Wooster with her husband and 2 daughters. She loves coffee, conversations, teaching and taking group fitness classes, reading, and plenty of time with friends and family!
