With terms like "quiet quitting," "toxic boss," and "hostile work environment" permeating the employment landscape right now, the call for improved culture in the workplace has never been greater. However, "culture" is not something you can purchase at the store for a quick and easy fix to a toxic environment. With workplace turnover costing companies thousands of dollars per year, per vacancy, understanding, addressing, and correcting these issues must be a priority.
This workshop will challenge individuals to understand what post-COVID toxicity in the workplace really means and what are some of the root causes. We will define varying levels of "toxicity" into those areas that are salvageable and non-salvageable and discuss appropriate steps to constructively navigate both pathways. Finally, the workshop will discuss resiliency in the workplace, even in the face of toxicity, and how to preserve one's own mental and physical health in the face of difficulties.
