Event Details

Communities across the country are tackling the challenge of attracting investors and leveraging their Opportunity Zones. Meanwhile developers and investors are tackling the challenges of locating potential development projects in Opportunity Zones and understanding the financial structure for this new federal tool.

Public and private sector partners can work together to spark development by taking advantage of the tax benefits associated with Opportunity Zone investments. We will show how local support programs, innovative partnerships, and creative financing have been critical to getting investors and developers to the table and navigating complex capital stack issues.

Our team will provide an overview of the Opportunity Zones requirements and the City of Orrville's Opportunity Zone. We will also step through hypothetical real estate development scenarios for projects in downtown Orrville and how they may be able to leverage qualified investments in the Opportunity Zone.
