Employees are one of a company's greatest assets. Recognition and appreciation are known as some of the key motivational factors in the workplace. An employer may show their gratitude for an employee's efforts and contributions to the company's goals in a variety of ways. Many organizations include employee appreciation as part of their business structure. It shows how much they value their employees and keeps morale high in the workplace. Employers who express employee appreciation tend to increase employee job satisfaction as well.


The Orrville Area HR Connections Virtual Roundtable will provide participants an opportunity to share employee appreciation ideas and learn from each other. Come prepared to participate in this interactive hour of engaging conversation with HR professionals.


The intent of the roundtable is to provide HR professionals an opportunity to interface with colleagues, exchange ideas, troubleshoot issues and provide support for each other. HR Connections is a partnership between the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce โ€‹and the Wayne Area Human Resource Association โ€‹(WAHRA).


Who Should Attend

HR professionals employed by Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce member companies OR members of the WAHRA are welcome to participate in the roundtable. There is no charge for members of either organization to participate. Login to your chamber member account or use the WAHRA code when registering. Anyone interested in this opportunity but not a member of the OACC or WAHRA can register to attend for the standard ticket price of $20.
