ACTIVE SHOOTER PREPAREDNESS
Active shooter incidents are often unpredictable and evolve quickly. In the midst of the chaos, anyone can play an integral role in mitigating the impacts of an active shooter incident in the workplace. Alert employees can spot suspicious activity, navigate the risk and report it.
Sergeant Andrew Dalessandro, Orrville Police Department, will provide an overview of how employers can proactively plan and prepare employees for the unexpected crisis in the workplace.
WELCOME BACK TO IN-PERSON MONTHLY LUNCH MEETINGS
Orrville Area Safety Council monthly lunch and learn meetings will be held the second Wednesday of each month at The University of Akron Wayne College, 1901 Smucker Road, Orrville. The agenda will be 11:30am lunch buffet followed by noon meeting and educational session. The meeting will conclude at 1pm.
