Presentation will review sugar found in our food supply from several different angles. Matt Newman, Registered Dietitian, Aultman Orrville Hospital, will recommend how to best use nutrition labels and also give practical advice for people whether at the grocery, the restaurant, or the pantry at home.
Speakers
Matt is a registered dietitian working at Aultman Orrville Hospital, where he is involved in a wide variety of areas including clinical nutrition, outpatient counseling, and community events. Matt also holds clinic hours every week at Aultman Orrville Sports & Wellness with a focus on weight management and healthy lifestyles.
Eric White is a Construction Safety Consultant for the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Division of Safety & Hygiene. Mr. White has been with the Division for 20 years and in the safety field for 22 years. Prior to coming to work for the Division of Safety & Hygiene Mr. White held positions with the Mechanical Contractors’ Association, Honda of America, OHM Corporation and worked many years as a carpenter. He holds a BS in Environmental Hazardous Materials Management from the University of Findlay.
