Advanced threats that were seen in big corporations years ago have moved their way "downstream" to target SMB. Businesses of all sizes as well as home networks are just as vulnerable to malware and other attacks.

Why? Because SMB is the perfect blend of a) having money to pay ransoms to save their business and b) not investing in proper security to stop these attacks.

Dan Faltisco, a nationally known, local NE Ohio Cyber Security Expert, will share statistics to show proof points of what is happening on a global and US based scale. He will offer anecdotes about real attacks that he has witnessed locally to underscore the message and wrap up with some general tips and advice on what organizations can do.
