Detective Mike Burkey, Wayne County Sheriff's office, will present a Practical Response to Workplace Violence for the Orrville Area Safety Council webinar, January 12, 2022.
In addition to the educational webinar, the Orrville Area Safety Council monthly meeting will include:
- Updates from the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation.
- Spotlight on an Ohio BWC program or service.
- Shout out to Safety Watch Party site and monthly drawing for a Free Lunch.
The Orrville Area Safety Council is presented in partnership with the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation and Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Speakers
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office operates from offices in the Wayne County Justice Center. Every division of the Sheriff's Office is staffed 24 hours a day.
Eric White is a Construction Safety Consultant for the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Division of Safety & Hygiene. Mr. White has been with the Division for 20 years and in the safety field for 22 years. Prior to coming to work for the Division of Safety & Hygiene Mr. White held positions with the Mechanical Contractors’ Association, Honda of America, OHM Corporation and worked many years as a carpenter. He holds a BS in Environmental Hazardous Materials Management from the University of Findlay.
