Office of Compliance Assistance and Pollution Prevention at Ohio EPA
https://epa.ohio.gov/homeTamara is an environmental compliance specialist with Ohio EPA’s Office of Compliance Assistance and Pollution Prevention (OCAPP) within the Northeast District Office. In this role she works with small business and communities to help them understand and comply with Ohio EPA’s regulatory programs - including help with compliance-related paperwork, permit applications, recordkeeping, and regulatory reporting. She also develops a variety of informational and training materials to help explain regulatory requirements.
Tamara earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Siena College and Master of Public Health in Environmental Health and Toxicology from the State University of New York at Albany. She has over 25 years’ experience in environmental compliance in both the public and private sectors.
Miranda Garritano is an environmental specialist in Ohio EPA’s Office of Compliance Assistance and Pollution Prevention (OCAPP) in the Northeast District Office. Her primary responsibilities include providing businesses with technical assistance on environmental regulations and requirements. Prior to joining Ohio EPA, Miranda worked in the private sector as an environmental consultant. Miranda holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Mount Union and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
