Maribeth was appointed to President of the Wayne Economic Development Council in 2021. She previously served on the WEDC’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Burns is a resident of Wayne County with more than 30 years of leadership experience with The J.M. Smucker Co. in corporate communications, government relations, public, state and local affairs, and charitable giving.
Burns, a graduate of Ashland University, has been involved in Wayne County serving on the Boards of The Wayne County Community Foundation, The Orrville Area Boys and Girls Club, Aultman Orrville Hospital, Aultman Health Foundation, Main Street Wooster, the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Wayne County Heart Walk ELT. Burns previously served on the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce Board and was a founding member of the Heartland Education Community, Inc., and OrrViews community newspaper. Burns was named as the 2020 recipient of the Paul Powell ‘Citizen of the Year’ award by The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2024, Burns was recognized as a ‘Woman of Distinction’ by the Girl Scouts of North East Ohio.

• Executive Director, Orrville Area United Way: Led the organization to exceed fundraising goals, improve community engagement, and diversify funding streams.
• Executive Director, Wayne County Children’s Advocacy Center: Increased the agency budget by 30%, aligned multidisciplinary teams, and achieved National Children’s Alliance accreditation.
• Coordinator, Ohio Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Program: Managed grant proposals, supported facilitators, and chaired the Oversight Committee.

Vice President of Facilities & Support Services at Aultman Orrville Hospital
Kandis has been with Aultman Health System since 2001 and has held numerous leadership positions within both Information Technology and hospital operations. He currently serves as the Vice President of Facilities & Support Services at both Aultman Orrville Hospital and Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Kandis graduated with my BA and MBA from Malone University. He serves on the Board of Directors on both the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce as well as the Tuscarawas YMCA. Kandis has been married to his wife, Ashley, for 19 years and have three children – Jake (18), Anna (15) and Gus (8).
Richard leads the 6 international locations and overseas the company’s expansion in to foreign and domestic markets and new and emerging technologies. In his previous roles at Will-Burt, he was responsible for establishing and developing the company’s strategy, acquisitions, and global distribution network.
An Ohio resident & British citizen, he has established himself as a leading expert in his field. Before joining Will-Burt, he co-owned a number of successful businesses throughout the UK. Specializing in business transformation and leadership, Employee Ownership and strategy, distribution and manufacturing, he began his career in the field of electronics working for the UK MOD before focusing on business leadership and entrepreneurship.
With his extensive background in marketing, distribution and channel partnerships, Richard has an
impressive portfolio of global contacts that includes the worlds top 10 defense contractors and
distribution companies/partners. Richard oversees the Engineering, R&D, supply chain/procurement and operational functions of the global facilities where he focuses his teams on innovation and technological advancements.
His passion for Employee Ownership has led to his inclusion in ESCA (Employee-Owned S Corporations of America) and ECR (Employee-Owned Companies Roundtable) where he advocates for Employee Ownership on Capitol Hill.
Master Sergeant at Orrville Police Department
Master Sergeant Jaime McGreal serves the Orrville Police Department with over 17 years of dedication. After graduating from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in justice studies and a minor in conflict management, she completed the University of Akron Police Academy in 2006. Her law enforcement career began as a part-time officer with the Brimfield Police Department, later bringing her to Orrville in pursuit of a full-time role.
In 2014, MSgt McGreal made history as the first female to earn the rank of Sergeant within the department, where she currently oversees 11 of the 17 officers. Known for her commitment to the community and leadership, she serves as the public relations liaison, field training officer, crisis negotiator, and more. In 2016, she expanded her expertise by attending Police Executive Leadership College, further strengthening her role within the department. MSgt. McGreal’s love for the small-town atmosphere of Orrville reflects her deep roots in Portage County, making her a dedicated and approachable leader in the community.

Myron Weaver grew up in Stark County, Ohio, where he began his career in the family construction business. After transitioning from construction, he dedicated nearly 25 years to pastoral ministry. In 2018, Myron became the Executive Director of OrrVilla Retirement Community, where he continues to serve with passion and purpose. He and his wife, Sheryl, are proud parents of two married sons and grandparents to four grandchildren.
