Christy (Johnson) Haidet the Senior Manager of Internal Communications at
The J.M. Smucker Co., where she has worked for 12 years.
At Smucker, Christy’s team is responsible for delivering world-class employee facing communications that support and aid in the adoption of company
culture, provide clarity and connection to the company's long-term strategies
and priorities and inspire and engage the Smucker workforce of 9,000+
employees.
As a first-generation college student, Christy received her bachelors in
journalism and sociology from Bowling Green State University and her MBA,
specializing in Human Resources, from Ashland University. Before joining the
Smucker team, Christy worked for The Daily Record in Wooster, Ohio as a
community news reporter and sportswriter.
An Orrville native, Christy graduated from Orrville High School, as did her
parents and siblings Matthew, Kelley and Maggie Johnson. Christy and her
husband Doug have a toddler son named Murphy and a cat named Sisqó. She
has two nieces and two nephews.
Christy is a passionate supporter of mental health initiatives and Diversity,
Inclusion & Equity efforts. Her personality typology per the Myers–Briggs Type
Indicator is ESFJ: Extraverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging.

Julie brings almost 30 years of professional experience to the table. spanning non-profit, social services, education, government, small business owner, and private sector work. She is currently serving as the Vice President, Manager of Human Resources and Training for Wayne Savings Community Bank.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from (the) Ohio University and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Julie holds a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – Senior Certified Professional designation and has just completed a pilot project for the Institute for Diversity to move the Certified Diversity Executive® credential into fully accredited status with (The) Ohio State University and the Society for Diversity. Julie is also a Certified Employing Abilities at Work professional, and a Certified Workplace Mental Health Ally through a joint program between the SHRM Foundation and PsychHub.

Julie is a longtime resident of Wayne County, where she and her husband Rob raised their daughter. Her hobbies include photography, painting, and traveling to see her daughter in Boston.

She primarily writes fundraising and marketing content for nonprofit organizations, including The Village Network, Main Street Wooster, and the Ohio Light Opera. She also provides copyediting services for academic writing. Before her freelance career, Lynette worked as the Assistant Director of The College of Wooster Writing Center. She serves on the Board of Trustees for OneEighty and the Monday Night Mile and is a member of The Women's Advisory Board at The College of Wooster. She holds a master's degree in Higher Education from Penn State University, a Certification in Personal Training from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and a bachelor's degree from The College of Wooster. In her free time, she enjoys going to the theater, running, and spending time with her husband, son, and their two dogs.
